A wedding in a natural setting… then in the air!
In my job, I often see people amazed or surprised by the set up of the wedding, scenery, whether at the arrival of the bride, especially when she comes from abroad. Here I found it no different, how can they not be with a scenery such as the Riviera or the Alps. At the wedding of Salome and Boris, I was taken aback! The first time was by the huge house in which the preparations took place, what a beautiful house on the banks of Lake Neuchâtel! The ceremony took place in the adjoining garden before taking a Mini Cooper ride for an aperitif a few kilometers away. The second time, which took me by quiet a surprise was the ride in the helicopter! It was the father of the bride who decided to gift the newly wed love birds, this fine gift of a ride in the helicopter on their wedding day, and the best part was that I was able to enjoy it too. It’s good to be a wedding photographer, especially at occasions like this. I continue to work away, capturing some fine memories through my lens.
We returned to the splendid residence for the ceremony of the couple, I continued to snap away making sure I didn’t miss anything. Then dinner was served, which led the evening to a nice finish. They certainly are memories not to be forgotten, and yes for both the bride and the groom too.
