A Wedding in the cold and snow!
Weddings no doubt take place all year round, whether in summer or in winter, and there are some weddings which are showered with a bit of both! So it was the month of August, where Celine and Christophe decided they were going to get married and said yes to each other.
Here we were in Chetzeron which culminates at 2112 meters altitude! It was in this fine natural setting, which overlooks the Rhone Valley, that the two lovely love birds decided to exchange their vows. It faces the most beautiful peaks of the Alps, from Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. So here we were with the bride and groom, ready to kick start the day with them. The guests trying to reason with the weather and its temperature, but everyone was still full of energy for the event. We take a swift ride in the gondola and the temperature seemed to have dropped by a few degrees (it even snowed!). Nevertheless the couple were still full of hope, and to compensate for the weather being a little bit of a disappointment, they entertained themselves by using the 5-star hotel’s swimming pool. The bride then got ready inside before the beautiful ceremony began outside. The guests finally had warmed up and were focused on the couple. I even managed to get a photo shoot with the couple outside in the cold before returning back inside. We then return and gather with the family relatives to celebrate the rest of the day together in the Chetzeron room. It certainly was a pleasure to have been there despite the cold.
